Kauai Memorial Gardens, Inc.

Kauai Memorial Gardens Inc. was founded in 1972 by Robert E. Simpkins Sr., who established the first memorial gardens on Kauai. Roberta Lee Simpkins joined the business in 1992 and opened a funeral home on the property in 2004, creating what the business describes as the island's first combined memorial park and funeral home. The current family leadership includes Roberta and her three sons—Joshua, Thomas, and Matthew—who continue to operate the Lihue facility.
