Over the years, the Riser family has maintained ownership and leadership of the funeral home, solidifying its presence in the community for over eight decades. The current facility, located in Olla, was constructed in 1974 by H. Neil Riser, Sr. and Lillian Gore Riser, offering a spacious, six-thousand-square-foot venue for services. Key members of the team include Neil Riser, Jr., who joined following the death of Neil Riser, Sr. in 1985, and Vicki Smith Riser, who acts as both funeral director and office manager. Riser & Son provides services to the communities of Caldwell and La Salle parishes.
